Is water buffalo suitable for dogs with allergies?
Water buffalo is a type of meat that is easily digestible and ideal for allergy sufferers and dogs with intolerances. Water buffalo meat is rich in protein and provides many valuable vitamins and nutrients, such as iron. It is tender and tastes like beef with a slight gamey flavor. However, it is lower in fat than beef. Water buffalo is rarely used in conventional dog food and treats, so most dogs tolerate the meat very well.
The strips are easy to divide and ideal as a reward during training or simply as a snack between meals. They are made from animal monoprotein, i.e. exclusively water buffalo meat. Like all our products, they are gently air-dried, without artificial preservatives or attractants and without added sugar or cereals.
